The healing power of play
Play not only helps children and young people in their social, physical and cognitive development; it also has a therapeutic value. While talking therapies might be appropriate for adults, children often don't have the emotional literacy to talk about their feelings and worries. Play is their natural way of expressing themselves and working through their issues.
