Anne Ceesay - Therapist

About me
Having worked in adult mental health for seven years, it became apparent to me just how crucial early intervention is.  Supporting children to explore their feelings, deal with difficult situations and work through issues can not only help them with immediate concerns, but also allow them to improve self-esteem and develop coping strategies and resilience that will stand them in good stead for adult life.

I decided to follow my desire to work with children and qualified as a primary school teacher in 2014.  Since then I have been working with children with special needs and autism in a mainstream setting.

Qualifying as a Certified Play Therapist has allowed me to finally bring together my two passions; children and mental health.  I am passionate about the therapeutic work that I do and my warm, caring nature (together with my silly sense of humour!) means that I am able to establish a good rapport with the children I work with.

Where do I work?
